I’m happy to announce that I’ve been invited to exhibit in the 2021 Every Woman Biennial, which will be held in June and July in London and New York. EWB is collaborating with Superchief Gallery NFT, the world’s first physical gallery space dedicated to NFT art. I’m excited that my video work will be minted as an NFT, which provides provenance of the work and greatly helps artists working in digital media!
The EVERY WOMAN BIENNIAL is about uplifting women and non-binary artists; creating opportunities, encouragement, connection, community, inspiration and love. The Biennial brings together established artists – including Tracy Emin and Swoon – alongside emerging artists.
The Biennial launched in NYC in 2014 by founder C. Finley, originally under the name The Whitney Houston Biennial, as a way to provide a platform and exposure for more female artists. Each year, one of Whitney Houston’s songs celebrating women lifting each other up provides the title for the Biennial, as well as a block-party style street dance. This year’s Biennial theme is MY LOVE IS YOUR LOVE. Get ready to dance on June 24!
